Thursday, we welcome:

babyblueyes - whose 4 year old daughter has WED. Wants to connect, get help, and get information from others.

Parents often join, find info, and then they do not stay active. Another parent just joined a couple weeks ago. After you have made a few posts, you can private message him or her and possibly connect. Most of the active folks here have it themselves, though some of us had it as children, or have children who have it, too. I've had PLMS since I was 2 or 3 and WED since I was a pre-teen.

There is not a lot of research about pediatric WED, unfortunately. We have links to research and articles in the Special Populations section. There are posts from other parents in both the Just Joined and the Special Populations section. Please post and let us know your questions.

Friday 27 June.

We welcome new member:
hope - who has WED/RLS and would like to find out more up-to-date information.

There is certainly a lot of information here on the Discussion. Have a look at the 'Just Joined' forum and also the stickies at the top of the page. Feel free to ask questions as soon as you are ready and we will do our best to help.

Sunday 28 June

Today we welcome:

AnnJones - who has had WED/RLS for 13 years and is seeking helpful advice in dealing with symptoms.
Silvertaipan - who has suffered 40 years. Symptoms are getting worse and relief is needed, preferably without medication.
Jan - who has had WED/RLS for 8 months and it's getting worse. Interested in alternative treatments. Unfortunately mother also has symptoms and medication is not satisfactory.

Please look around the site and the relative forum. Look in each forum. Ask questions. We are interested to hear everyone's dealings with WED and want to help, and indeed to continue to learn ourselves.
