Tuesday, Oct 7, welcome to:

Tara - who, after many years of symptoms, has recently found the symptoms to be dramatically reduced by alpha lipoic acid and is wondering if that has helped others.

Welcome, Tara. To my knowledge, this isn't something people have talked about here. We do find that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for others, unfortunately! We're very happy it's working for you and would like you to please post about your experience. You never know who it might help.

Thursday, Oct 9,

Welcome to lenaskid - who is still up in the wee hours of the morning, unable to sleep because of WED/RLS.

I wish I could say I had no idea what you were talking about...except I'm up approving your membership! That's one of the many great things about this forum - we all know what it's like to have this disease - and we all try to help each other get through the day with it.

Welcome to

srclosson, who suffers from sever RLS to degree that sleep is not possible without medication; and it seems to be getting worse.
wookie, who has had WED since childhood. It is now worsening and medications seem to be wearing off. This can be terribly embarrassing in meetings.
Cathw, who has suffered from rls for 36 years and didn't know medication was available til her mum was in hospital and she was prescribed ropinorol. She would like to hear others experience.

Many of us can relate to what each of you has said. Take a look through the existing discussion threads to see what you can find. Also, please to not hesitate to post any questions that you may have.
