Wednesday - 28, January

Welcome to Howard, who's had WED/RLS for many years, was recently diagnosed, and it's now getting worse.

Howard, I have to ask - did the doctor prescribe a dopamine agonist, such as ropinerole (Requip is the brand name in the US) or prampipexole (brand name Mirapex in the US)? Start a new topic and let us know about your situation. Or read posts - lots of great info. Start with the link in my signature.

Thursday, January 29

Please welcome

Kidaroo, who has had restless legs for years but just put a name to it in the last few years, is currently taking Requip and was about to ask doctor to increase the dose when Kidaroo read about augmentation and is now concerned.

You have good reason to be concerned if you have been on Requip for a while and need more to regain control. Take a look at the link in my signature to get a better idea if you may be augmenting. You should also take a look at the links in badnight's signature to get more info in augmentation.

Friday, January 30

Welcome to

jewelsong, who is basically non-functional due to sleep disruptions from periodic leg movements.

Take a look around to find any information that you think might be helpful and please post a note telling us about yourself and let us know whether you are currently being treated for the PLMs.
