Speaking of Google Alerts, they sent me this one today. It's the best article for someone who's never heard about RLS to learn. Facts are straight, good personal testimonies, etc.

(I just love all the Google stuff, I would drink Google cola, aka "G-ola" if it came out. :) Caffeine free of course! For instance, I just misspelled "caffeine" but my trusty google toolbar did a spell check and it's all better now.)

Probably the best website I've ever been to on health is an alternative website with a Chemist by the name of Ted who contributes frequently, the site is earthclinic.com and you will read about cures/remedies I guarantee you've never heard of before.....that work. I now regularly take apple cidar vinegar, black strap molasses, hydrogen peroxide, etc.

formerly skeptical, but now a believer!!!

I apologize if I am repeating something. I just did a quick scrolll and didn't see the one I have in mind.
www.rlsrebel@yahoo.com or org I can't remember which one.
Great site for those who try to avoid meds.
Jill Gunzell is a terrific lady I had the pleasure of meeting some yrs. back. What a doll she is!

It is a great site, isn't it?

Not sure if it's in this thread...it's definitely in the Managing RLS sticky.

He answers emails all the time. He posts the answers on rlshelp.org, too, so you can ready through hundreds, if not thousands, of responses to other people and often get your answer that way. his email is on that site, too.

1. Go to uptodate.com
2. Go to the right hand corner and type in Restless Leg Syndrome in the white box. You do not have to join.
3. You will now get a list of topics.
4. Type in Restless Leg Syndrome or go to http://www.uptodate.com/contents/search ... PLAIN_TEXT

Restless Leg Syndrome was updated in January 31, 2013 for this particular site indicating that it is also known as Willis Ekbom Disease. http://www.uptodate.com/contents/restle ... tle=1%7E52

If you have WED due to Fibromyalgia, type in Fibromyalgia or go to this site. http://www.uptodate.com/contents/search ... PLAIN_TEXT

After clicking on this site click on the Patient Information: Fibromyalgia (Beyond the Basics). RLS will be in there under Fatique and Sleep Disturbances. It was last updated on June 6, 2012.

Dr Picchietti is the author of the Uptodate doc on WED. He's a current or past board member of the Foundation - I would trust anything he writes.
