And, Our First Members of the New Year! January 2016

Post by ViewsAskew »

Welcome, January 2, to:

dinocindy123, who has had RLS/WED for many years and is looking for some help.

So sorry you've suffered so long, dinocindy123. I do hope you find some help here, along with commiseration, empathy, and advice (when asked).

and

burnscolepub, whose RLS/WED was causing lack of sleep and now want to share experience with managing.

seashells09, whose husband has been suffering from RLS for at least the last year. Symptoms have become progressively worse and are beginning to occur earlier in the day, even with medication. His difficulty in sleeping is taking a toll on him physically, mentally and emotionally.

Gr8fuldad, whose RLS causes sleeplessness and relief without meds is not an option. Because of the side effects of the meds, quality of life in the evening is null.

Take a look around, starting with "A good place to start" at the top of this forum. And then please feel free to post a note either introducing yourself or asking any questions that you still have.

Welcome today to

Sapp413, who can't sleep and has to get up and exercise during the night, stretch, cry and then get up the next morning so exhausted and so tired that she can barely walk.

Take a look around, starting with "A good place to start" at the top of this forum. If you have any questions, please feel free to post a new note or join in an existing discussion.

and to

Nicolina-Bresciani, who RLS began in her early 20ties (57 now). Her RLS has progressed to the point where she had to quit her job. Auality of life has taken a severe nosedive in the past 4 years. Meds do not seem to help.

Please take a look around and by all means post a note telling us about yourself and what you have tried. As some of our most severe members have found, there is always something else to try - even when the doctors seem to think that they have tried everything.

Sapp413—that was a description of me before joining the RLS discussion board. Now with a small amount of medication and other things I've learned, I still get up and stretch but not as often each night and can get back to sleep after a shorter period.
Best wishes, you are in the right place for help.
