Welcome to
Pchappell, whose RLS doesn't affect daytime life, but sleeping is hard. Pchappell may fall asleep quickly, but wakes up within an hour or two with leg pain that has been handled it by massaging and/or exercising. Pchappell usually is able to go back to sleep, but always wakes up at least once more with the same pain.
Please take a look around and then post a note telling us a bit more about your RLS and asking any questions that you have. I feel certain that we can offer you a number of suggestions that will make sleep easier for you.

Welcome to
sammylola, who has had RLS for the past 6 years (shortly after giving up meat) and it's become increasingly worse this year. sammylola doesn't want to take medication and hopes that increasing ferritin level will resolve this issue. (currently = 24). sammylola has recently returned to eating meat and is doubling iron intake. No change yet. Nights are brutal.
Increasing ferritin by diet and oral supplements takes time (weeks), so hang in there. Take a look around and feel free to post a note asking any questions that you have.
