Welcome to Nan0317
Monday, February 20
Welcome to
Nan0317, who has experienced RLS after stopping prescription meds (opioids). She cannot believe the pain in her calves, which is constant.
Take a look at the topic "A good place to start" at the top of this forum. There is a series of questions that you should read through to determine whether your issue is RLS or something else associated with stopping the opioid meds. And please post a note giving us some more details so that we might be able to provide some more specific suggestions for your consideration.

Welcome to Dutch Diva
Tuesday, February 21
Welcome to
Dutch Diva, who lives with chronic sleep deprivation and exhaustion. She is too tired to have a normal life. After doing her own research she found that the physician she has been seeing is not up to date on the available treatments. Hopefully, with the help of a new doctor, she can get her life back.
Congratulations on the decision to find a new doctor who knows how to treat RLS. Please feel free to post a note with any questions that you have so that we can possibly give you some specific suggestions, especially on what you can do to find a new doctor.
Also welcome to:
LisaBB -who has suffered from RLS since little. At over 50 now, it is worse. taking pramexipole and having to up the dosage. Would rather get relief from natural remedies.
Please tell us a little about your rls treatment and we will try to help.

Welcome to
LisaBB, who has suffered from RLS since she was little and now at 50+, it is worse. She has been taking pramexipole but has had to up the dosage. She would rather get relief from natural remedies.
Since you have had to increase your dosage of pramipexole, take a look at our forum on Augmentation. For natural remedies, look through the Non-Prescription Meds forum, especially the parts about iron. And then please post a note telling us a bit more about yourself, your RLS treatment and asking any questions that you have.

Welcome to lindaseib
Tuesday, February 21
Welcome to
lindaseib, who has had RLS for about 60 years, diagnosed for the last 25 or so. After success with pramipexole at a high dose for several years, my insurance company is changing it to a much more expensive option and my symptoms are changing somewhat. At the same time, my PCP who has been handling my case is retiring.
Take a look around and then please post a note introducing yourself and asking any questions that you have so that we can make some suggestions, including how to find a new RLS friendly doctor.

Welcome to Wanderer2`
Welcome today to Wanderer2 who found out only by coincidence that opioids can relieve his RLS/WED and let him sleep through the night for the first time in years.
Wanderer2, we're pretty lucky ifthe first doctor we ever ask about our RLS/WED symptoms knows something about it and takes it seriously.
Take some time to post your story here in Just Joined (start a New Topic) , or reply to someone else's post. We hope you will feel part of the community here.
