Welcome to

Hoskme, who developed RLS in December 2016 while on vacation. As a former GP, he pretty well knew what was going on, but was 25 years out of date. He started with a dopamine agonist but recently experienced augmentation, and was switched to gabapentin. He would appreciate discussing this condition with other sufferers.

You definitely found the right site for discussing RLS. We look forward to seeing your posts, and feel free to ask any questions that you have.

Sounds like you could be augmenting on the ropinerole, take a look through the forum on augmentation and then please post a note with any questions that you have.

Welcome on May 30 to MaureenAnn who has suffered from WED/RLS since pregnancy and is now on three different medications

MaureenAnn, you'll find a lot of knowledge and experience here to draw on - and to add to. The most common problem for WED/RLS patients is augmentation, and doctors usually don't know about it. Check A Good Place to Start in this Forum, and find out what augmentation is, both here and on the RLS Foundation site. You can now reply to posts, or create a new Topic and tell us about yourself.

Please post a note telling us a bit about your RLS and what you are currently taking for it so that we can offer you some suggestions.

Welcome to

PamMcT, for whom most evenings the tightening up of her calves is the onset of another night of being compelled to move her legs. She doesn't sleep and is am worn out. If she does sleep, she ends up all over the bed and kicks out. The other night, she kicked the night stand and broke the lamp.

Please post a note telling us what you are currently doing to manage your symptoms and whether you know if you have RLS or PLMS (or both). And feel free to ask any questions that you have.
