CBD infused cooling gel

I used Kala Organics CBD infused cooling gel last night my wife bought when we were at a 4th opinion neurologist office. When we went to bed she rubbed it on the top of my thighs where my RLS resides and Wow. My RLS reacted like a very hot bath, too much stimulus for my brain to think about sending PLM signals to my legs. I got a good night of sleep, woke up early and felt good. The night before was a torture chamber all night. I don't know if it was the menthol, camphor or the CBD but I will try this again, probably tonight.

Very expensive, like $50 for a tiny pump bottle. But what do you expect at a neurologist's office. Has anyone tried this, had success and found a less expensive source.

I haven't tried a topical CBD for my RLS. I have tried CBD gummies and tinctures. They didn't do anything for my RLS but the tincture was almost immediately effective when my RLS causes severe anxiety.

I did use a CBD cream that my surgeon gave me following hand surgery. The idea was to help reduce scarring. That surgery left fewer scars than the one that he did a year before, but less than what another surgeon did more recently where the physical therapists gave me a patch made out of a rubbery material that I would wear beneath a bandage at night. So, maybe the CBD cream helped, maybe not.

That's great it helped you! I haven't found CBD to be particularly helpful with RLS, but I do have some topical balm that helps with my TMJ, teeth clenching, neck tightness issues. And there are other ingredients that might be helping, so I have no clue what's in that helps.

I do find the Miracle Plus Restless Legs Calming Creme from Amazon to be quite helpful when I just need a half hour of relief until my meds kick in. It does have lidocaine, magnesium, and a bunch of other possibly-helpful ingredients in it. After the initial lavender smell, it smells terrible, but I can put up with that for a few minutes of relief.

So many of us try so many different things, it's hard to tell what really helps.

Thx Susan,

My wife bought me RESTLEX made especially for RLS. They are quite proud of it $$. A mix of small amounts of Ferrous Iron, Vitamin C, Magnesium, etc. If it worked RLS would have been concurred long ago. At least I can take them as a supplement.

I've developed a very minor rash I can only attribute to the CBD Infused Gel so I quit taking it last night. I think tonight I will test menthol and camphor rub I bought at CVS for $5 and see if it gives me that distraction so I can fall asleep. Eventually I'll probably try the CBD again. Rick

I have a Hemp cream (Charlotte's Web) that I bought on Amazon for around thirty dollars. I rub it on my legs at night, and then pull a stretchy sock-like cover over the cream. It really helps me get to sleep.

I've had 9 nights of restful sleep. My wife suggested I apply it to my feet and the mild rash is about gone. There were three nights in the middle when I did not use it (because of rash) and still slept well. Is it just my disease cycle? I'll take anything I can get. Kala Organics CBD is the same price as at the neurologist office, $60. That kind of surprised me. I doubt it will last a month.

I had a consultation with an out of state specialist who is licensed in Florida. He advised against using CBD because it has not been studied. His view is it potentially could make things worse with permanent damage. I was surprised as another neurologist just sold me it two weeks ago and I can buy on everywhere over the counter in Florida. I seem to be sleeping better with CBD infused oil on my thighs but does not reduce the pain I wake up with several time a night, I believe with pain is from PLM. But if I wake less times I experience pain less times each night and feel more rested. So I’m torn on whether to continue CBD.

It's really helping me sleep on what otherwise would have been rough nights. Not very torn on whether to continue. Getting to sleep isn't such a wrestling match with my legs. Slept thru the night last night! A $60 pump dispenser might last a month.

I can only speak personally..... If it's helping with sleep, I wouldn't be torn on whether or not to use it. Well done.
