Saw a reference to "amino acids" in one of the other threads and it brought to mind an amino acid supplement called SAM-e. Did not turn up anything through the search box. But, quite a few years ago, it was one of those "things" which seemed to help some people even though there doesn't appear to be any real evidence that it does (or perhaps doesn't). I have a recollection of giving it a test drive early on in my journey but recall that it did not seem to do much for me. I may not have given it the best trial. But, was wondering if anyone has tried SAM-e recently or has a related story to share.
Wishing everyone here some peace this night.

Re: SAM-e
I tried it a number of years ago. I carefully followed their instructions about temperature control (it's not supposed to get too hot, I think) and taking B-complex vitamins at the same time. Unfortunately, I can't remember how long I tried it. I might have been a lot more impatient in those days. At any rate, it did nothing. But I didn't finish the supplies I ordered, which were for 3 months, I think.

Re: SAM-e
Hi,
I just finished trying SAM-e's for about 2 months. I followed the regimen for the SAM-e's and other supplements as described on one of the websites that comes up in a google search.
I did not notice any effects, either good or bad from this regimen. Wish I had better news to report.
