DEA Making Kratom a Schedule 1 Drug
Re: DEA Making Kratom a Schedule 1 Drug
The law firm that the American Kratom Association hired wrote an incredible 35 page letter to the DEA setting out the argument for not doing this emergency scheduling of kratom. Is there some way that I can upload it or provide a link to it here? Or you can go to reddit, and search for these keywords: kratom AKA law firm letter. There are a couple of threads that will come up, and they both have links to the letter, and to all of the pages of testimonials that went in with the letter. It's really worth checking out, and you can see that the money we've donated (and I hope are still donating) is being well spent. I have to say that after reading that letter I can't see any way the DEA can actually invoke their emergency scheduling order.

You can provide a link to the document. You need to use the Full Editor for your post. There is an option at the top for URL's. Click on the URL button and then past the Internet URL address in between the two symbols that look like "[url]"

This link, I think, is to the letter that the AKA is sending to the director of the DEA. You really should read it. It's a terrific letter, and after reading it I think we really might win.

This is a link to the pages of testimonies of kratom users. It has some very moving accounts of how people turned their lives around with kratom.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this wonderful organization, the AKA>
