The relationship between RLS & Venous Reflux

Post by BeanieLee »

I read somewhere in my research that most rls patients proved not to have any vein associated problems. I don't know that for a fact and I don't remember exactly who cited that but I just found this and found it interesting as I experience pain and aching heaviness in my legs as well as all of the other symptoms. I would suggest to everyone that you read this page. It's just one quick page and if you don't like it you can disregard it but I thought it may be helpful to someone and anything is worth a gander.

Yeah, that's been around awhile - some small group of RLSers are greatly improved with the vein surgery. I have a feeling that anyone who has RLS BEFORE the vein problems probably won't get relief, though.

Beanie, since you're reading so many cool articles, if you haven't, take a gander at the two "sticky" posts in the New to RLS section. LOTS of links to interesting articles.
