Pending approval for CBD Oil by the FDA?

Post by Rustsmith »

This announcement appeared today. It appears that the FDA may be on the verge of approving CBD oil for the treatment of pediatric epilepsy. Of course, once it is on the market, it will be used off label for many other purposes. Approval will also increase the pressure on the FDA to remove marijuana from the Schedule 1 list since it will be more difficult to claim that it has not value when a purified component has been approved for prescriptions. So, not there yet, but hopefully a step in the right direction.
