I got so pissed off I lost composure yelling thru my scarf. I pulled thru and waited until they called and cancelled the first RX. The whole system is broken and the doctors are unaware of the process to be able to assist patients.
But it worked. You knew what you needed and insisted you get it. Honestly it's so hard to be calm when your life is falling apart and the people who could easily help are not helping.

Once, I was very upset that my GP was taking her sweet time giving me a prescription that a specialist had recommended. I said the F word when I was talking to the receptionist - something like "but I can't Fxxxing sleep!" Then, when I finally had an appointment with the doctor, in a chronic and severely sleep-deprived state, I had to put up with her judging my morals based on my use of "bad" words. Then she said she couldn't treat me anymore. That felt like a blow, it was a blow, but it became the best part of the whole deal, because I ended up with a wonderful GP whom I've been seeing ever since.
Beth - Wishing you a restful sleep tonight

I had the same thing happened to me with Dr Cho. He wrote me a letter removing him from the practice because I was less than professional with his staff. Where are those industrious people from the past who could anticipate your needs instead of fail then need the Dr to wipe their brow.

I read a great book I found at Kinkos at 2am title “How go to Win Any Argument”. The techniques work so well in email and letters and in person but I just forgot those techniques and defaulted to paleo mode. I also just don’t like manipulating people which is essentially what you are doing when you apply the techniques.

Why can’t life be simpler like it used to be?

And the language barrier. I’m speaking articulate American English. What is the problem??
