Buprenorphine

Post by SleepyCharlie »

I have taken buprenorphine (film under tongue) with great success for 10 months. Rls is completely under control but side effects include swollen joints upon waking - for about 30 minutes and possibly sudden gaining of belly fat in the last few months. Anyone else with those side effects? Maybe it was just Christmas cookies!

Subutex (brand name for buprenorphine) is a central nervous system depressant that binds to opioid receptors in the brain that help regulate physical movement, hormones, and mood.
Effects on these important functions can factor into a person’s dietary habits, physical activity, and physiology.
This may explain weight change.
