My doctor just prescribed "Trihexyphenidyl". Has anyone taken this or heard of any experiences ?
Thanks

I've not heard of this Parkinson's drug being used for RLS. I don't think it is a dopamine agonist, so am not sure how it might help. Hmm, I just looked it up onine and it is an anticholinergic and used to control movement. I couldn't find any references to using this for RLS, but that isn't the be all and end all.
I'm not a doctor. I do keep up relatively well with new treatments and the drugs normally used for RLS; I've not seen this one on any of the lists.
Have you started it? If so, what does it do? Did your doctor give you his rationale for using it? Have you tried anything else? Sorry for all the questions; I'm just a curious type by nature.
Glad you found the board. Hope we can be of help.
