I am on Niaspan, 1000, Tramadol 5 @ 50, Altace 2 1/2, Requip 2, gabapentine 900, Multi vitamines, 1/2 asparin. & some calcium/magnesium suppliments.

I have restless leg & Post polio, & sleep apnia.

Is Niaspan known to affect Restless leg?
Should I take it in the morning?

It is primarilly to lower bad cholorestol. but mine is only maderatly off of good.

I tried not taking it last night, seems (one night) to help sleep by not taking it.

After senveral days, it is DEFINATLY better to take this medicine inthe morning, than at night.

All I take at night are the Gabbapentine, tramadol, Requip
& 2 1/2 mg. Altace (ACE Inhibitor).
Mot nearly as sleepy in the morning, better rest.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I am not familiar with the drug at all. It sounds like taking it earlier is better for you. Is it one of the niacin based drugs for cholesterol?
