hmm, that is a very low dose of Mirapex and you've been on it for a week now and it's causing major nausea. And according to your 2nd post, you're not taking any other RLS meds just Klonopin .25 and Lunesta.
I agree with Ann that it's worth a shot to take a "real" dose (e.g. 2 mg) to see if it helps the RLS although I don't know if it is safe to do so. But if it was, then you'd see if the RLS is lessoned (even if the nausea did increase!) and give you hope that Mirapex MIGHT be worth it. Sort of like getting a snapshot of the future to see if it's worth the pain leading up to that day. Then get a perscription for nausea meds maybe.
Did your doctor not want to try one of the stronger pain meds? If the doctor is worried about the DEA or whatever, you would think your reporting of nausea on such a low dose would prove the need for other stronger meds?
Take care whatever you and the doc decide.

Hos, none of the opioids work for Emily. She gets a little relief, but maybe 20% decrease in symptoms and that is at a very high dose. But since her RLS has started, she's never had a time of no RLS.
Em, what did you decide to do today? Any changes?
