Hi Vinton,
It's not that it doesn't work, but most SSRIs make RLS worse. So, it's sort of defeating the purpose; you'll need to take much more Mirapex (or any other drug) to have it have any effect. That, in turn, may not work well because then you'll have more side effects to get any relief.
Sometimes people need an SSRI for one reason or another. If that is the case, try different ones and see if one bothers your RLS much less than another. Wellbutrin is the one that seems to work the best in conjunction with RLS. But, it may not resolve the other problems. If not, try others and see what happens. If they greatly exacerbate the RLS, then see if there is one that doesn't do so as much.

SSRI and mirapex
Thanks for the reply.
Miraprx at 0.25 works fine for my legs buy my concern is about side effetcs.
I'M on 105 mg of mirapex for depression caused by MS plaques and the first 3-4 weeks on mirapex I felt better emotionally but after 6 weeks I'm depressed.
I know that mirapex acts as an antidepression med but I'm trying to see if its what caused this downer whicg started with it.
Thanks
