New Medication Study

Post by slee »

I heard on the radio about a new study of a drug that has not been approved by the FDA yet for RLS. They will be studying the effects of an investigational medication on driving, memory, and a few other things I can't remember. I guess I really need it if it works! The website and information is below. I contacted them and passed the first phase of acceptance into the program. I hope I am accepted and get the real stuff because I am so tired all the time, I think half is the RLS and half is the clonozepam. I tried Requip and got so sick within minutes of taking it, I decided walking the house was better. Here's to the possiblity of a med that works! :D

I hope you get in and get the medication. I didn't see that they require you to stop meds, but I imagine they do.

Let us know what you can when you find it out. I'd love to know what they are using in this study.

Part of the survey they went over with me on the phone included what drugs I was taking and what others I had tried. So I don't know if I will have to stop or not. That could be a really bad :( part of the study though, unless I get the good stuff and it works.
