My GP and neurologist never heard of the link of Ferritin levels and augmentation. I was on requip and my symptoms increased horribly. They did the test to humor me and lo and behold my levels were very very low. Now they are both interested and reading more on it. The result is that I am getting the treatment I need and we all deserve

It's SO great when we can really impact other people's lives, not just our own. One time, about a year after my GP had to take a crash course in WED, he told me about a new patient he had - someone with WED. He thanked me for all I'd shared over the past year and said that he was a much better doctor because of it. Made me very happy.
