Not taken Mucinex, but have taken guaifenesin without issue. It's been listed on several WED drugs lists as OK to take.

Thanks. I had symptoms yesterday, when I hadn't had any for a month. I had taken Mucinex for a couple of days due to getting sick. But also had chocolate and splenda, so I wasn't sure why I had a flare.
I don't think there's always an answer. It just can happen.

The most likely culprit is the Splenda IMO.
