Thyroid Levels and RLS

My thyroid levels have risen this last blood test to almost twice what they were, but still a few points under the number that would put me on medication...at the same time my RLS has worsened to 24/7 instead of just at bedtime. Could there be a correlation?

I have an appt with a sleep doctor at the end of June and I'm thinking it's a long time to wait. My GP doc is quite sick of me complaining and is the one who told me to see a specialist, probably because she hasn't a clue what to do for me. In the meantime I'm suffering.

It's 4 a.m. and I'm feeling very frustrated.

I can't say my RLS has changed at all with the increase in thyroid. Not saying it might not be related! There is some correlation between inflammation and RLS for some people. Thyroiditis is technically inflammation of the thyroid...so not a leap I'd guess to think that in some cases, increased RLS could be related to thryoid issues.
