Just a rant

Postby Sleepless at night » Mon Oct 29, 2018 4:00 am

I'm getting ready to sleep now. I pray that I can have a good nights sleep. I'm so tired during the daytime because of my rls and plmd. I just want to be knocked out so I can sleep.
Can't the medical field find an answer to this problem? Many people have it, and I truly have compassion for them, because I know what they are going through.
Due to my spinal problems, I was given hydrocodone. That doesn't even help anymore. I'm just beside myself.
I dread the night, because I know that I will need to sleep, and that's when the torture begins.
I'm sorry. I just needed to vent.
I've had success with the type of niacin that does give you the "flush."
When I wake up with my leg doing what it does, I take one, and usually, I can fall back to sleep without any more problems.
Thanks for listening.
I've been having plmd with my shoulder. Boy, is that a bad one. It's like electric shocks that come every few seconds.
Maybe you can pray for me. I don't know what to do anymore.
Thanks again.

Sleepless, you are sounding quite desperate and I hope you managed to find some sleep.
I have just about given up, really just accept that I will be up and about, not always with symptoms, indeed more likely to be plain old insomnia.

As you say.....
Can't the medical field find an answer to this problem?

Clearly not :(

You might add magnesium. The sleep specialist had me do that. I take 400 my twice a day, over the counter, not a script. I think it helps me. I also just had a Laminectomy and back fusion of L 3,4,5. Waiting to see if that helps me.
Good luck

So sorry it is such a problem for you right now. I hope you find some way to improve it.
