does surgeryincrease RLS permanently?

I got surgery last month and my rls has never been this bad. I recently heard that surgery can permanently increase rls for some. curious to know what others have heard.

So sorry it is worse, peanut1. Over the years, lots of people have commented that it was worse, or started, after surgery. I don't recall if anyone said it eventually went away or decreased.

I think it does goes down once inflammation goes down.
