Hey everyone!

Hi everyone!
I recieved a e-mail from someone here,i don't recognize the name so far.
Anyway,i missed you guys, life has been very hectic here.

Our new foster son we had gotten in Dec 04 was a nightmare,we finally gave him up last December..It was very hard on us even though he was was very hard on us.We still have our other placement,he's like our own. He's almost a man!
Our puter crashed and i didn't look you up til i got this message, now it's bookmarked!

My RLS is completely under control.I couldn't be happier. Once i decided i would take whatever meds i needed to sleep and foget about addiction things just worked out.

I'm not giving advice but here is my meds now.

2mg Klonopin and 2 Ultram and 1 dose of Niquil at around 7p,i'm very ready for bed by 10-1030 and sleep til i wake up.Usually 7:30 or 8a

I feel good now. Of course i realize my bubble could burst again but i was stable for a number of years before so heres praying..
Once in a great while i may take a Ultram in the am if my legs are jumpy.

I saw the RLS specialist Dec 04,they wanted to take me off all meds and begin again,i didn't go back cause i can't even imagine doing all of this over again.
BUT low and behold i went to a RLS meeting (a couple of weeks ago)and the quest speaker was one of the Doc's who treated me,i was really shocked to see her and i think i embarrassed her by telling her what i thought of her plan for me and i wasn't coming back. I did apologiize to her but asked her if she could do her residency all over again, long periods of no sleep etc. and she said no.

SO anyway thats "part" of whats happening to me. This past 10 months has proved that stress isn't the cause for my RLS flare ups. Almost lost both daughter and husband. Another long story.

Well its good to see some familiar names!

Brenda
Finally able to sleep on average 9 hours a night!
