I have Rls which has gotten much worse in the past two years, and affects me only at night, but EVERY night. I have the creepy crawly sensations and cant sleep withou medication (hydrocodone). I also have severe spinal stensis and nerve root compression at L-4 / L5, and L5 / S1. This condition causes significant leg pain, but I am wondering if the pain might be more related to the RLS?
Someone recently suggested that I be tested for a spinal cord neurostimultor which would be implantd internally as a posible treatment for the leg pain. I wonder if this might help with the rls if it works. Has anyone heard of this type of treatment?
