Name change

There was an Ekbom Syndrome and then we were going to change the name to Ekbom Disease. Since then, we have decided that name was not a good one for various reasons. (Confused with Ekbom Syndrome, the acronym ED is usually associated with Erectile Dysfunction, etc.)

....now that's funny.

When I got my papers with Myoclonus on it I was confused so I typed in that with RLS and couldn't find anything specific so I typed in Ekbom and the parasite thing came up and so then I really started looking. :shock:

That's why it is so important to know what you are looking for and make sure your info is from a reputable source. So many got horribly upset when they typed in Ekbom and got the information about Syndrome instead of Disease. And it's not only us that suffer with it, it's doctors trying to research for their patients.
