Post by becat »

This is a poll for specific information about those people with EKD or RLS, who suffer with pain as a symptom or part of your symptoms.

Poll will end on June 15th, 2011. Thank you in advance for your help!

If I did this wrong please just post the answer, cause I don't see the poll, hmm. LOL

Answers : Yes, I have pain.

No pain. Hi Becat!

I have to add though that pain can be masked when on meds like opiates.

When not on meds I have pain.
Thanks to rls.org, I have learned so much about my condition. I have received encouragement from my friends here. This is a site I can come to when I am up most of the night, and I vent, and know those who read my messages understand

This will sound stupid... but I honestly don't know if I have EKD pain.

My legs ache very often, but I don't know if it is just aching leg/legs or if it has to do with EKD/RLS.

Not much help.... sorry

I guess I fall into the aggressive/severe category, although I don't have problems like some of the most severe around here.

If I go off meds its just too hard for me to tell whether or not I have RLS related pain, or its all from withdrawal.. But then I also can have some bad aching after a busy day working on my feet, which takes an inordinate amount of any pain med to really get rid of.. (Methadone will calm it but its still kind of there). It feels similar, but still distinctly different from the light aching you would get from excersize

So I will answer: Yes I have pain.

I'm saying yes to the pain question.

However, I've had it this way all my life and have found that it's in our family's genetic code.

Love y'all for helping with this.

No pain. I guess. I have been diagnosed with fibro but maybe its really due to the RLS/Ekbom stuff.
