Rls and low oxygen in the blood

Post by rthom »

Does anyone have experiences with their rls getting set off strongly when their oxygen levels are low? It seems if my blood oxygen levels are low or if my asthma is acting up badly it feels like my rls is having hysterics. Also similarly, when i'm around chemicals that i'm having a strong reaction to, like rubber or perfumes i feel the same way. My question is if it's common, and i'm trying to figure out if it's just a similar sensation--(based on maybe my body's fight/flight response) or if it is in fact all part and parcel of the same thing.

Could it be the anxiety of the situation that is responsible? Anxiety and worry are known triggers for many of us. Just a thought.
