I have a large number of plmds ove 66 a min. and aside from that i have another sleep disorder that makes me sleep backwards--If i get any rem at all (which rarely happens--like 2-3 times a year) I start to awaken immediately. So if anything disturbs me at all I wake and cannot get back to sleep because when i do drop off to sleep i start in the back side of rem. So my brain reads this as I've had all my required sleep and there is no need for further till the next day.
I also had a bad accident causing pain, As well heart problems, 1 lung and emphysema, asmtha (these wake me if something changes in the house, like humidity, scents etc.--makes it hard to breath) My other lung has bronchiexisus (spelled wrong?), Also Pain that i was tested for by a specialist and told was fibromyalgia. Often the WED gets bad and i get recurring charlie horses (you know the ones that land you on the floor, from sleep till you convince the muscle to relax) like 5 or more a night. Weird thing is they only come at night and only when the WED is flaring.
There are other things but i'm drawing a blank--but you get the picture. Oh yah and one of my arms keeps falling out of joint at night usually when i'm asleep, It's a rude awakening. I can usually get it back in myself though--just hurts till i do and aches after.

How long ago did you receive the diagnosis on your other disorder where you sleep backward?

rthom: to say you have your hands full is pretty much an understatement. You have my best wishes with regard to
all that you have to deal with.
