Wow, very good ! Isn't it amazing to be so ecstatic over one good night. It always feels so good. Then I pray for a second night.

Wow, I have been away from this site for a month. My RLS is like tossing dice, you never know if you are going to crap out or get lucky. Let's see, it is past midnight and I tried going to bed at 8 pm - no luck tonight.

Wishing all a happy sleep.

I guess I can't say "welcome back" without it sounding bad :D

I'm glad you had a month of relatively little grief, and I hope tonight's grief goes away and doesn't return!

Half the time I don't know what day it is but then being retired it doesn't really matter  I did sleep 5 1/2 hours last night which is a good thing. I am so glad I retired as it really lowers the stress level knowing I don't have to show up for work with zero or very little sleep.

I’m still kicking. It has been over 3 months since I have been here. One thing that has changed is I’m on Medicare now. A 3 months supply is now sent to me every 3 months and it only costs $12 for 3 months of generic Suboxone. I was paying $140 to $300+ a month for it.

Generic does not seem to work as well, seems like it would have to be the same but somehow I think it isn’t. The doc who put me on it years ago warned me about it too, but whatever.

Now I’m going to look around this site and see how things are going. Take care.

I used my Medicare card for first time today to get a flu shot. Actually the reason I am up and about. I woke up with a really sore left arm that is throbbing and was wondering what the heck it was and realized my wife had the same problem when she got her flu shot last week. First time I had any symptoms from a flu shot but nothing surprises me for this strange and twisted 2020 year.

My Dr is now arranging appointments for flu vaccinations but the dedicated phone line is constantly engaged. In the last two days I've phoned 19 times!!
In the ten years that I've had a flu vaccination I've never had a sore arm. I've been very fortunate.

I'm still kicking. Doing pretty good considering. Generic Suboxone still working. I take 1 mg film 4 times a day. This is because if I take 4 mg at once it keeps me hyper and awake. My lower back has been really bothering me, it is currently why I wake up in morning as it hurts just before I get up. Also left shoulder is bothering me. Doc gave me some exercises to do everyday but they haven't helped much in last 6 weeks or so since I visited him. Also bunions in both big toes but okay as long as I use arch supports a doc had made for me a few years ago. Getting bad headaches a lot too.

All of the above is probably a result of RLS and Suboxone side effects. I am just happy that I can sleep at night and I don't have to stay on my feet all the time. Been in lockdown now for a whole year, can't believe how long it actually seems - years. Hopefully things will get better this year.

Take care everyone.

You are sounding pretty positive and it's great to hear that you are doing ok.
It's 11 months since our first lockdown. With two slight easements in between we are on major lockdown 3. The result of a (very foolish) two week relaxation before xmas.....

I look for reasons to be grateful. Main one is a cpap machine since the start of December and sleep that I had not known for at least 25 years.

good to hear from you. Glad you're hanging in there!

Keep doing the exercises, it might take a while; also there's a lot of good info on shoulder rehab if you can dig it out of the truckloads of not-so-good info online.

Funny, I also am having left shoulder issues and bunion issues - I am doing a set of exercises for both shoulders 4 days a week, and they seem really good so far. Aimed at mobilizing and strengthening the muscles that control the scapulae, which are usually neglected in workouts. Also the thoracic spine - getting flexibility.

I just ordered Correct Toes toe spacers which are supposed to help bunions. Mine aren't painful but my feet in general are very painful and it will be months or more before I can get in to see the specialist, who comes up from Edmonton. I've had a sprain in my left ankle since July

I have a right shoulder issue. A two inch rotator cuff tear that can't be repaired. All they can do is a reversed total replacement.
Isn't it wonderful to get older.
