OK - I can't even talk about this at the moment without foaming at the mouth.

Not sure if we can respond to this, as I haven't even looked. I just read part of it and came here to post.

Doesn't it occur to these doctors that the reason it seemed to be such a small population is that no one had talked of it and the doctors didn't know what it was, so it rarely was diagnosed, even if a patient brought it up? Or that patients were told they were crazy? Or that patients felt it was crazy because no one talked about it, so they didn't bother to bring it up?

How can a smart person - you have to have a moderate level of intelligence to get through medical school - be so blind to this?
