Can electrical stimulation exacerbate wed?

Post by Orrel »

Last week I received for the first time some electrical stimulation as part of therapy for tennis elbow.
That evening, my wed was extra active. Is there a connection between this and the electrical stimulation?

It seems to be highly personal. I am assuming you used something such as TENS.

Some people here use TENS for their symptoms. For me, it makes it worse.

Some time ago I tried TENS for a few weeks and found no difference, neither better nor worse.

When I use TENS on my legs, my WED flares up right away; there is no delay. When I used it for my elbow, and other parts, it has no effect on my WED.
