Dr William Ondo and his Quality Care Center

Post by Rustsmith »

Any of you who are patients of Dr. William Ondo in Houston have probably already received a mailing from the Univ. of Texas Physicians advising you that Dr Ondo is leaving UT. I was advised today that he is no longer seeing patients at UT. It appears that he (and his RLS Foundation Quality Care clinic) will be moving to be part of a group at Methodist Hospital starting September 18. I was also told that Methodist would be reaching out to us sometime soon.

So, if you are interested in following him to his new practice, you should complete the paperwork that UT sent that allows them to transfer your files to his new clinic.

I started to read this with dread - thinking he was leaving his practice completely. Thankfully that is not the case!

For those of you who are (or want to be) a patient of Dr William Ondo, his staff has started making appointments for him once he starts at the Methodist Hospital movement disorders clinic in mid-September. If you would like the phone number, please send me a PM or call the Methodist Hospital Movement Disorder Clinic's general number.

And if you are a previous patient, he will only be seeing those patients on Mondays. Also, you will need to send a copy of the form to UT requesting them to send him your file prior to any office appointment.
