RLS Video

Post by Rustsmith »

Edit:
Sorry for anyone who clicked on the link to the YouTube video earlier and was notified that the video is Private. About an hour after I posted my original message, the Foundation office notified me that all of the individual "Story" videos are going to marked as private until they are officially released over the next couple of weeks. Each video will be appropriately advertised by the Foundation. My story is the next video scheduled for release and should become available on Thursday, July 7.

My video has been delayed two weeks. The Foundation discovered that there was a licensing issue with the background music at the last minute. The producer is replacing the background music, so it will not be released on July 21.

In the meantime, take a look at Donnie's Story at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OVYyjfz0rI
and Caroline's Story at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGy_UodKjIM

If I remember correctly, there will be a total of six of the personal story videos when they have all been released. Each story looks at a different aspect of RLS. Donnie talked about childhood RLS and the topic of my story is exercise.

The fascinating thing is that these were all put together using out-takes of out interviews for the Augmentation video. There wasn't a plan to produce these when they were all filmed last summer, so to be able to tell six different stories when we were all interviewed for to same thing is really amazing to me. Before they showed up at my house, the crew had no idea that I was a runner.

My goodness - someone has put a thumbs down on Caroline's video. If you watch these, please give them a thumbs up! You may need to be a YouTube member to do so, but it's easy to become one.

"Stephen's Story" was released today. Each of the six stories in the series looks at a different aspect of RLS. As you will see, my story involves exercise and RLS.

The next video in the RLS Foundation's series of stories was released yesterday. Lori's Story does a good job of explaining what it is like to have RLS, so it may be something that you may want to share with friends and family.
