An interesting article. My father had Parkinson's, and I have RLS. There appears to be similarity.

If I remember correctly, people with RLS have decreased iron in the substania nigra, the opposite of what that article says about Parkinson's disease. Both however have similarities in that the substantia nigra is a center of the problem, and of course, both respond to dopamine agonists.

It is very interesting in that both involve iron, yet in seemingly opposite ways.
