Immediate response please
Immediate response please
I took my bedtime meds at 9:30. It’s now after midnight. I took half .25 ropinirole, half .5 Xanax and 50 mg of lyrica. Can I take an ambien now? I’m wide awake. Hoping someone on the west coast will see this and give me a thumbs up.
Re: Immediate response please
Too late, sorry, it is 6:20 AM, west coast. In answer to your question, taking ambien doesn't conflict with the other meds, however, balance problems may increase, be careful. If your urge-to-move is controlled and you still cannot sleep, you may be better off increasing the Lyrica or using THC (medical marijuana). These generally work better for RLS insomnia than Ambien or Xanax.
Blessings,

Thank you. I took the ambien and then half of 5 mg of hydrocodone. I hate those nights when nothing seems to work.

So sorry - I didn't see it, either. Hope you had some sleep.

Absolutely. I take 200mg Tramadol ER each day at noon and 900mg gabapentin at bedtime. I also take pramipexole along with the gabapentin because it allows me to keep the dose of any opioid that I take as low as possible. Is it safe to combine Gabapentin 1000 mum and Tramadol 50 mgm daily?
