Anything on your mind that isn't about RLS? It's nice to realize that there is life beyond this disease and have an opportunity to get to know our online family in a different context.

I "met" Becat this evening. I was looking for a local support group and found her as my contact. I gave her a call, and it was so great to be able to actually talk to someone in my area. We discussed the local RLS doc referred to me by Dr. B. I'm just so excited to finally talk to someone around here that can be a support for me. We plan to get together for lunch one day. Just wanted to share a positive thing regarding the dreadful disease!!!

Thanks for the talk Becat! I really enjoyed it! :D

Hey Monkeylady

I've never said "hi"---- HI! from Jan!

Becat is a wonderful person. You will love her!!! I do.....

I've read a lot of your posts and am so sorry you have RLS, but really glad you found this forum. It's great, isn't it? There are so many caring people on here, as you have already found out.

Good luck with Dr. B. and have a great lunch with my dear friend! BTW, love your little monkey in the picture.

Take care!

Jan

Hi Lisa what wonderful news. You have met a great person and she is definitely an inspiration and will be there for you at anytime. I can vouch for that and so can Jan, Lyndarare, Penquin, Rubyslipper, Nadia and alot of other members.

Do me a favor, when you meet for lunch give her a hug from me okay?
Thanks.

Thanks for all the responses everyone! Although I've only been active on here lately, I truly couldn't have made it through the last week or so without everyone. I will definitely pass along all the hugs to Lynne for all. Have a great day all!!

My Gosh, I hope I'm having a good day when we have Lunch.

You guys have built me up so much, should I wear my tiara? LOL

MonkeyLady, it was an honor to talk to you. Don't listen to these sillies! LOL I'm mean and horrible. :D

No one should go without a contact, someone that understands the basics of what we are living with here. I'm glad you called, did tons for me to talk to you as well.

I'll send return hugs to each of you. I'm a lucky girl to have you all.

For those that don't know, our Miss Monkey lady has a wildlife refuge (sp?), her own personal circus without the tricks! You can tell it's her passion and that says alot about her heart.
I think she's certainly going to be a great addition to the family here.

Love and hugs to all
Lynne

Oh my Penguin, I hope soon.

I'm thinking before summer for sure. Let me ask around, I know the boss.... and I can get the inside info on that!

Sure wish it were sooner than whenever, but it WILL happen.

My love to you and Kathleen, wet slippers and all!

Love Lynne
