Anything on your mind that isn't about RLS? It's nice to realize that there is life beyond this disease and have an opportunity to get to know our online family in a different context.

sad sad news

Post by moonlight »

Hi there

For those of you who have known me for a few years will be aware that my mum in law was ill with a horrid degenerative disease.

She is now at peace and suffering no more.
She passed away peacefully with brian and me at her side on tues 14th
Such a loss, such a lovely lady..I miss her so much, I feel privileged to have been part of her family for the last 26years.

She never complained once when they could give her no answers and no cure. Three hours before she passed away the dr in the care home asked her how she was , she said "not bad"

There is no good time for someone to pass on, but particularly poignant at this time. Thinking of you.

I'm glad it's over for her...even though I know it must hurt for you.

So sorry for your loss, Moonlight. But glad that she passed comfortably and without a lot of undue pain and suffering.
