Welcome to

vicki, who has developed RLS quickly over the last 2 years and is now on the highest dose of Ropinirole. The worst thing about RLS is that she cannot sit and read for a long time anymore. Then there is the night time twitching that bothers both her and her husband. With the medication, she is able to get good sleep but she still kicks all night and disturbs his sleep. She is looking for some help for both of them.

Take a look around and please post a note telling us your current dose of ropinerole and asking any questions that you have or areas where you need suggestions.

Welcome to

Gmazurczyk, who has RLS and is looking for a way to cure it.

Unfortunately, there currently are no cures, just treatments. If you take a look through our forums on the various treatments and meds, you will get an idea of what has worked for our members. And please feel free to post a note with any questions that you have.

Welcome to:

bwetherill - who has had RLS since 8 years old. Generally managed it without medication. At one point when in 30's started to explore medications, but then luckily read about augmentation through the RLS Foundation. bwetherill is glad not to have gone farther with medications.

You had the right mind set not to have started medications if you were able to cope without them. Please post and tell us how you have been coping.

Welcome today to:

maybo - who suffers from several medical conditions. But until RLS arrived could always sleep!
Now it strikes within 5 minutes of retiring for the night and maybo kicks and stays awake all night long.

Read through the Just Joined section and when you are ready please post and tell us a little about how you cope, do you take any medications etc. We are here to try and help.
