Welcome to Robertoff
Monday, August 14
Welcome to
Robertoff, whose doctor diagnosed RLS at age 66 and prescribed Sifrol. For the first time he had comfortable sleep. RLS has driven his life since at least age 22 - work, relationships, sport-choices. But he still feels isolated, and is seeking people with whom to discuss and share.
You have definitely found someplace to discuss and share issues associated with RLS. Please post a note telling us about the current status of your RLS and asking any questions that you have. And feel free to jump into any of our ongoing discussions that are interesting to you.

We all understand since getting opioid meds is becoming increasingly difficult for all of us. Please feel free to jump into any of the conversations or start a new topic with any questions or comments that you have.

Welcome to GILBERTB
Saturday, August 19
Welcome to
GilbertB, who has been suffering of RLS since his student time. He is now 67 and it is getting worse although I use Siffrol and practice sports and so on. It starts earlier and earlier and makes me desperate. Several nights he has sleeping problems and as soon as he stops being active and sit down it starts...
Please take a look around, especially the section on Augmentation. And please post a note telling us what dose of Siffrol you are using and asking any questions that you have.

Welcome to Karine
Saturday, August 19
Welcome to
Karine, whose lack of sleep due to RLS + depression are too much to handle at once. Finding a way to stop or at least reduce the RLS would be a great help to come out of the depression. And she would like to know what's maybe still coming as she is still quite young (40) and has had RLS probably since she was 30. Her diagnosis has just been made official last year when she went to the neurologist.
Please post a note telling us a bit about what you are currently doing to manage your RLS and what your symptoms are currently like so that we can offer some specific suggestions.

Welcome to Hannah
Sunday, August 20
Welcome to
Hannah, whose RLS has not only affected her life but it's like it affected her soul. When she mentions that she suffers from RLS, she always have to add, "do you know what is RLS and the answer is not always yes", unfortunately, so she never misses the opportunity to inform them and always adds "hope you will never have to deal with it" but we have hope that a cure is not impossible.
Thank you for being an ambassador for our condition. Please feel free to post a note telling us a bit about your RLS, what you are doing to manage and asking any questions that we might be able to help with.

Welcome to Koichi Shudo
Tuesday, August 21
Welcome to
Koichi Shudo, who suffered from neuropathic pain (AS) and therefore has been interested in RLS. Koichi is doing research on the chemistry and medicinal chemistry. There is a possibility of using Koichi's research results in the therapy of pain and RLS, and so discussion and communication with colleagues would definitely help RSL researchers.
The members of this discussion board are RLS patients, generally with the more severe forms of the condition. We would be happy to discuss our situations as well as what we know, but we are not RLS researchers other than that most of us are continually trying new things so that we can better control our RLS.
