Kratom in the news - salmonella connection

Post by Polar Bear »

This came to my attention today and I thought it worth posting for those sufferers who use Kratom.

There are comments following the article that say this is old news, also saying that the small % involved is as nothing compared to the numbers who successfully use Kratom.

Never would have blamed my kratom if I got sick...until I was sick repeatedly, of course.

Thanks for posting, Betty.

This explains why there was an announcement a couple of weeks ago about the FDA destroying a couple of loads of kratom. The press reports that I saw made it out like it had to do with an FDA crackdown on an "illegal" opioid. Now it appears that it was really about contaminated product.
