I had moved to NM and the doctors here won't prescribe methadone. I was just taking gabapentin. Originally the doctor didn't think I would need anything else for my RLS, but I did. So that's when I started the suboxone, about 6 months later.
Thanks, Deb.

It has been awhile but the Suboxone is still working. I wish “they” would find a cure for RLS but it seems as though it might never come, at least not for my age. I still hope a cure will come one of these days. Take care.

Hi Eefall, it is good to hear from you and to know that the Suboxome is still working. I can't see a cure for RLS being available in my lifetime and continue to plod on, one foot in front of the other. Sometimes quite literally during the night...... :)

I hope that doesn't linger too much on your mind, healthy mind, healthy body, that's what I tell myself

Monolight1 - It definitely does not linger on my mind. As a sufferer of some 40 years I have learned to live with it.

Things have changed. My Suboxone under tongue type price has gone up to around $200 a month. It was almost free with my insurance.

But they now also have tiny pills that also go under tongue for free. Problem is they don’t work as well as the sheets and so it is just at the point of not taking care of my RLS and so I have been trying to make it work.

The directions are to take 2 at bedtime but that would never work. It actually causes RLS that way. So I take half at 7:30am and half at 7:30pm.

I’m just glad I don’t have to pay for it. My fiber…. Don’t know how to spell it makes it hurt all over body.

Good news is my wife and I have had 3 days of snow and sledding down a hill on our property. If it wasn’t for my sleep doctor I would not have been able to do that at going on 70!

Take care everyone.

Sledding in the snow is awesome! I live for those moments when the world is wonderful :)

My film doesn't cost as much as yours. I have been paying $126. That lasts me 2 months. So, $63 a month. I take 2mg a day. The way the prescription is written, they give me 60 at a time.
