Re: My Story and Dilemma

Yippee! I'm scheduled for two rounds of Injectafer iron infusions August 9 & 16. And apparently the infusions are covered through my medical insurance (I'll be checking this next week). Surprised and amazed. I now hope I'm in the 50% of the population that responds positively to the infusions. Wow,...

Re: New Member - MHochner24

Welcome. So sorry to hear of all of your issues.

Others have mentioned urination, also. And, more than one of us has found we needed to increase the dosage of Lyrica (or others in the same class) after a few weeks. Make sure you call Dr. Buchfuhrer and let him know that the dosage is not working.

Hi Michael - others will be along shortly with more info. I am taking a break from work and don't have a ton of time. First, welcome - so sorry you need to be here, though. Re: Reducing Pregabalin and Methadone dosage

Ann, Thank you for your reply. In previous attempts to clean up my diet I never saw the dramatic reduction in my symptoms I saw this time. RLS - always changing on me. I will edit this with my updates as I try to reduce my methadone. Thank you again....bill Hmmm - that may be the impetus I need to ...

Re: Reducing Pregabalin and Methadone dosage

I am in the process of reducing right now. I had an iron infusion - it usually takes 8-10 weeks at minimum for me to see changes, but usually around 6 weeks I test it by reducing methadone and adding pramipexole. I reduce 2.5 mg per 10 days. With the long half life, it takes awhile to notice you red...

I had this happen to me with spicy things. Always assumed it was medication, but am not sure.

Ann,

Did your RLS get better after the vaccine at some point?
Nope. No change. I was vaccinated in March, I believe. Things worsened recently, but it is because I had an infusion and am starting to reduce meds to see if it has started to work. (it has not)

What a wonderful service is provided by the RLS Foundation staff. It can't be easy to organize such an event and the staff at the Foundation work so hard and with such enthusiasm in order to do so.
Thank you so much.

Re: Pregabalin and Methadone Scripts filled in Florida

Hi, I called DR B's office and they explained that DR B. will work with any DR or pharmacy that will work with him. He does mandate that the patient be seen by DR B. in person at least once before he will write scripts. This applies to any patient in or out of state. The office also explained that ...

It's sad but there's no way to tell what the side effects will be until you try them. I hope the Neupro is helping and that the Butrans Monday is the beginning of a wonderful new period in your life :) :) It is absolutely UNREAL how well a mere 0.25mg of Neupro patch (one quarter of a 1 mg patch) w...

Re: Augmentation or something else

How much pramipexole do I take as I experiment? Last December my doctor ordered me a prescription of .5 mg after my telling him about my RLS. He didn't even tell me he was prescribing it. The pharmacy called me one day and there it was! I think he just looked up the protocols on the computer and we...
