Re: Has anyone used Suboxone (buprenorphine) for RLS?
Hi Ann, How do you alternate on methadone and pramipexole? Every other day? I am on 10mg daily of methadone and 300mg of gabapentin. I want to get off of gabapentin because of the short term memory loss it is causing since I’ve been on it. I have tried to get off of it but it caused an increase in m...

Re: RLS and ED
I started to notice ED ~40 years old when I got diagnosed with RLS. It slowly worsened each year with age as I was on DA’s. Finally, I went on Methadone ~1 year ago and it had a dramatic effect on my libido for the worse. I believe the dopamine dysfunction in males with RLS has a direct impact on li...

Low Testosterone
I have been on Methadone for ~ 1 year for my RLS. I recently had blood work done and it came back with very low testosterone levels. This makes sense because I have many of the symptoms that come along with it such as loss of limbo, lack of motivation, irritability, etc. I believe, like many other p...

Re: Suboxone - Living on the Edge
I am on 10mg Methadone and 600mg gabapentin. Since I have been on the Methadone I get mood swings and “mean spirited” often. I constantly have to be aware of it or it would be worse (snapping at people). My doctor thought Suboxone would help but he doesn’t have the special license you need to prescr...

Re: Gabapentin for WED and Sciatica
I forgot to ask a question which happened to my brother, although, I’m sure it also happens to a lot of people. Here are the circumstances. Person is on a high dose of a dopamine agonist (D/A) (~10mg+/-) and the person gets 2-3 hrs of broken sleep/night because RLS symptoms keep waking the person up...
