Welcome to

Jennyd10, who want to talk about coping mechanisms. Her RLS is driving her crazy.

You can get a few ideas from our Physical Treatments forum or you could just post a message telling as a bit more about your situation so that we would know the types of things that we could suggest.

Welcome to

JJOmaga, who has had RLS for about 50 years. He has been a member of the RLS Foundation for about 20 years. He continues to suffer nightly with lack of good sleep and thought it’s about time he tried to join this discussion board and a RLS support group to see if he can learn or share more about restless legs problems and helpful ideas.

We would love to hear about any helpful ideas that you have. The learn from us you can either search through our past discussions (at least 20 years worth) or post a message with any questions that you have so that we can try to answer them.

Welcome to Smc

Welcome to

Smc, whose husband suffers from RLS and they are desperate to find relief for worsening symptoms which do not respond to medication.

Often, the reason why RLS doesn't seem to respond to medication is that the patient has been taking a dopamine agonist and has augmented. Many doctors do not understand this side effect that is specific to RLS and therefore tell patients that there is nothing more to be done. There is and if that is your husband's case, we can suggest how to proceed since most of us have been there ourselves. All that you need to do is to post a message that tells us what he has been taking and the dose so that we can suggest your best course of action.
