Timing and dosages of Suboxone (buprenorphine)

Post by beckycolorado »

For the Suboxone users on this forum, when do you take your medication? And how many doses do you take per day?

My symptoms show up in the early evening and in the morning. It's 10:30am and I'm shaking my leg furiously as I type this. I just started to increase my nightly dose to cover my morning symptoms. I take Suboxone more than once per day and would love to get to one daily dose. Also, I'm worried that I'll experience nausea if I take a large dose once/day.

Just wondering if many of you can take it once per day or are taking it twice per day.
Thanks

I take 1mg at 9am and 1mg at 5pm. I have the film. I cut it in half. I used to take it all at night and found twice a day was better for me.

debbluebird, do you take it morning and night because you have daytime symptoms?
